I was all into the honors rope, the honors society tassels, all the medals and honors badges and all that stuff. I was really into learning what the different colors, hats, robe shapes, etc., meant on my professors and I couldn't WAIT to get an advanced degree so I could wear some really cool stuff like them. (Ph.D. graduates from the Sorbonne in Paris get to wear these awesome velvet berets. Way awesome.)

But then I graduated with my Masters degree (with a 4.0!) and I just couldn't care less. I didn't even go to my graduation, didn't buy a robe, didn't get my picture taken with the president of the University, nothing. I just waited for my diploma in the mail so I could get it framed for my office wall.

That was really anti-climatic. Getting hyped about your graduation is a LOT more fun. You should be proud of yourself! It's an awesome accomplishment, so feel free to enjoy the moment.Christinehttp://www.phoenixrevolution.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3789015470475947309.post-34104293764642134392011-05-04T05:38:10.334-07:002011-05-04T05:38:10.334-07:00I like variation on the treadmill too, try the int...I like variation on the treadmill too, try the interval setting if you have one.
